This is also for Jellybean.

I have just started to to take Enbrel. I was given the choice of three. It really is a hard to make your mind up which one to take, after all this could be a life changing decision. What my message said was that if you wanted a chat about it person to person I will be a happy to phone you, I get free land line calls. I think it is better to chat in the real world rather than cyber world.

If both of you would like me to do this send me a message with your phone number rather than me sending you one, because my last message is somewhere in cyber space!

NRAS Have leaflets and info on injectable treatments they will be able to help you.

Alot of members on here use humira im sure some one will get back to you?. enbrel seems less popular, I was looking it as an option for me, but funding is very poor in my NHS trust.

Carol, see my response to Jellybean re enbrel and humira. Jude

Hi, I am on Embrel alongside Leflunomide, and it's the best combination for me. At the time of funding request I was going to be put on another injection but then my consultant thought this one would suit me better, I am glad he did!

Been on Enbrel didn't work too great . Getting on better with Humira and methotrexate. Some people get great life changing results with these drugs. With me it has taken the edge off, I am still working full time but not in remission, still a lot of pain but I imagine I would be in even more pain without them. Hopefully either of them will work well for you. Best of luck! x

Hi Nantucket

I have just responded to a very similar query from Jellybean14 so please find the link to this below - you may also find it useful to read the comments from others: nras.healthunlocked.com/que...

These are the links to our specific information on Enbrel and Humira:

I hope things go well on Thursday at your appointment, and good luck with whichever drug you choose!

Kind regards

Sarah Kate

Thanks everyone for the help, hope tomorrow goes well, it will all depend on the DAS test, I have had no drugs for several weeks and my hands are terrible, thanks Carole
