John, thats quick that you have a date already. What are they going to be doing, a total knee replacement o are they going to flush it out. If they are flushing it will four to five weeks i believe,if it is a knee replacent it will be twelve weeks with pschyio. Hopw all goesb well for you john/.xxx

If they replace the knee John you will be able to walk quite quickly, but don't expect miracles overnight. If it is your knee causing your problems it could be wear and tear that is probally why no ra is showing up. You will be out of bed the day after any op you have and they will have you walking. My op last may was a big operation due to a bad knee replacement 3yrs ago and they had me out of bed walking with a frame. I am bloody minded and i was doing better than the other three in my ward who only had the first knee replacement. By the time i came out of hospital 7days later i was going up and down the steps and stairs, now don't get me wrong it was not as easy as that,in fact it was bloody hard work and i think you are the same way. You will have stick/sticks depending on what they do. I believe that your knee is degeneration of the joints more than ra,but i could be wrong. I will say you will be fine when it is over and you can start to do the exercises that the hospital will give you. You won't need a wheelchair John, but it will be slow, but you will get there as long as you do as your told. Love sylvia.xx

SYL its not a knee replacement but their is something wrong in the thing
dont know why they feel watery its like a pad under their soaking up inflamation and it didnt show up on mri then moved to the other possibly caused by throwing weight accross to it.
i stopped the swimming and consentrated on walking the last month it was doing no good all that kicking with it and it has got a bit better even though its a bit
asda every little bit counts lol
so realy they are doing an investigation looks to me so they dont know what they are going to find JUST MY LUCK FOR IT TO BE SOOTY what are you doing in their sooty. lol
I CAN JUST SEE YOU NOW SIL WALKING ROUND THAT WARD COS YOU ARE BLOODY MINDED LIKE ME if ya see an oppening in pain less you go for it
regards john
