Hi everyone,
Well I think I am coming out of this latest flare - its only been going on for 4 weeks!!!!!!

Anyway, a fortnight ago I had my dose of cimzia along with my meth, and cried for ages as it hurt so much to get the needle in (sorry to those who hate needles) I thought I was just being ultra sensitive, so later that afternoon I called my Rheumy nurse and asked her if she had any ideas to help me. She suggested rubbing ice on the area I inject into, before injecting!!!
Oh my...... I had both injections this morning and I was laughing..... probably because my hubby thought it would be nice to hold the ice for me, and made sure I was really cold and numb..... pay back I think!!!!
Anyway, I thought I would share it with you all incase you have any trouble injecting!!!

Well done Pen! I'm so cold always these days that ice cubes are the ultimate tool of torture for me but I find a good hard pinch on the spot I'm about to inject seems to work pretty brilliantly too if the ice cubes fail you ever - which I'm sure they won't especially if hubby's helping! Tilda x
