Just watched it. Money rules. But it was about negligence and greed more than the kind of persecution that ATOS deals in, the whole ATOS can of worms needs an in-depth expose. This time Panorama tackled the least unacceptable face of state-funded prejudice - 'parking' etc. - & that was bad enough.

Yes woolly, i definately agree with you about ATOS, the public need to know.
I thought the Panorama report tonight was very mild in comparrison. Nothing surprises me now about this government.
Everyone should have a look at website 'Benefits and Work' just google it, extremely helpful and very informative. Lots of help on DLA (PIP) and ESA.

Interesting about the labelling wasn't it. I thought it quite good but nothing new really. But people need to be told about what's going on

LTB , really! That is so hurtful to think that is the mentality of these people , for those that didn't see the programme there was an "incident" where claimants were referred to as LTB's, which stands for lying, thieving, ba...rads , unbelievable.
I feel a letter to the health secretary of complaint coming on. And bet our supportive mr meacher will have something to say about that. aTOS r disgusting and totally inefficient . I have just received three forms for benefits I don't receive, took me 6 phone calls to tell them that and it's still not sorted, just get threatening letters that they will remove the benefit, which I replied go ahead I am not on it anyway !!

I watched it and wept. In a world where there are thousands of disabled.
I am appalled that representatives from the company under investigation, blatantly accepted no responsibility for their poor performance and the diabolical performance of those assessors, who cruelly showed no level of human compassion to their fellow man.
The shall be judged by many and God works in mysterious ways. To deal with those who err!!.
Sending letter to my own MP and Dame Anne B.

Missed the programme. Wonder if it is on iplayer. I had awful trouble with an ATOS assessment. I am a good communicator but somewhere between her typing in comments and the person deciding on my fate ....

It was decided I could go back to work!!!!! If only. I can hardly move at the moment. Typed a three page letter which took me forever to do, detailing all the problems and my disgust at Atos and got two new Support letters from GP/Consultant. Asked as they had offered at Atos, for a copy of the report but not been forthcoming. Attended Job Seekers Initial interview, etc as they insisted I had to do so, whilst my appeal was in progress and the guy there shook his head and said .. Why have they sent you! He told me what the Atos woman assessing me had written and I was flabbergasted. She had put ... Has a bit of arthritis in the mornings and is a bit stiff. If I could have conjured up enough strength I could have ..... Grrrrr. Anyhow I was told Atos can't afford proper GPs to assess so then get the type of person I got .. Obviously a person not very qualified in assessing people with physical disabilites!! Oh and the stress of it all made my RA awful. Funny though as she kept bending down and asking ... Can you do this? (er, NO!) and flashing her boobs! I told her in the end she was exposing herself. Perhaps that's why I got the Naff assessment!!!! ;-) Seriously though, I heard from a good friend of mine who knew his neighbour had been treated badly by Atos and tried to take an overdose he was so upset. So upset he was not able to work and they were pressuring him. This is the scary part.

Btw, My Appeal was successful ... At least for now.
